BBQ Brisket

In large pan, marinate beef brisket in 1/2 bottle of Liquid Smoke overnight.

After it has marinated, add 1 cup water to pan and cook, covered tightly at 250 degrees for about an hour per pound. (i.e. 8 lbs. brisket would be 8 hours.) Internal temp. should be between 185-200 degrees when ready. Cut into slices (or chop).  Place slices in large serving dish and cover with sauce.  Use spoon or pastry brush to slather sauce between slices.  Bake another 30 min. or so until sauce is heated through.  Or if not serving soon, keep in warm oven for another hour or so.

Sauce:
1 cup bottled BBQ Sauce
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. vinegar
