BBQ Brisket

In large pan, marinate beef brisket (about 6 lbs.) in 1/2 bottle liquid smoke overnight.  This step is optional, if you don't care for the smokey flavor.

Add 1 cup water to pan and cook, covered tightly at 300 degrees until done, about 5 hours.  Cut into slices.  Place slices in large serving dish and cover with sauce.  Use spoon or pastry brush to slather sauce between slices.  Bake another 30 min. or so until sauce is heated through.  Or if not serving soon, keep in warm oven for another hour or so.

1 cup bottled BBQ Sauce
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. vinegar
