Coconut Lemon Squares

Bottom layer:
1-1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 cube butter or margarine

Second layer:
2 large eggs
3 Tbl. lemon juice
1 cup sugar
2 Tbl. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup coconut
1/4 tsp. salt

With pastry blender, crumble all 3 ingredients for bottom layer until mealy.  Press in 8" or 9" square pan, lined with foil (but not greased).  Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 min.  For second layer, beat eggs lightly.  Stir in next 6 ingredients. Spread over first layer.  Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes until set in center and light brown.  Cool.

Icing:  Beat together with mixer, adding more lemon juice a bit at a time as needed for easy spreading.  Spread over cooled bars.  Chill before cutting.
