Strawberry Danish Dessert

This recipe (one box) makes enough for 2 Cream Cheese Pie Toppings
This is also great on Crepes, Ice Cream, or with Angel Food Cake and Whipped Cream, use with trifle too!

One Box "Strawberry Danish Dessert"
1 lb. box strawberries--washed, hulled, and sliced

In med-size saucepan, stir contents of box into 1-3/4 cups cold water.  Bring to boil, whisking.  Boil for 1 minute.  Set aside to cool (but not harden in fridge).  When cool enough, slice berries into mixture.  Top pies or use for other desserts.  Will set up and harden more in refrigerator.
