This is a sheet pan size sugar cookie dough that is perfect for group gatherings and fun summer activities! It can be frosted and refrigerated ahead of time, and is better when served chilled. The fruit toppings can be added to each individual piece after slicing, or they can be added in stripes down the pizza and then sliced to serve.
2 cubes (1 cup) real butter
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2-3/4 cups flour
Combine butter, cream cheese and sugar in a large mixer and mix well. Add egg, almond extract and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Line a jelly-roll pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray. Patiently spread batter into pan using floured hands. Bake at 375 degrees for 16-18 min. Cool completely before frosting and serve cold.
