Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake

Boil Together:
1 cup water
1 cube butter or margarine
4 Tbl. cocoa powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil

In separate bowl, mix:
2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour

After allowing chocolate mixture to cool a little, mix it into the sugar mixture.
Dissolve 1 tsp. soda in 1/2 cup buttermilk (or 1/4 cup sour cream mixed with 1/4 cup milk)
Mix the following into your chocolate mixture:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Soda/buttermilk mixture

Spray jelly-roll/sheetcake pan with non-stick spray or grease and flour.  (Don't line with foil).  Spread mixture in pan and bake 15-18 min. at 400 degrees.

Frost cake while still warm.  Frosting may be stiff, but it will melt and spread as it is applied.
Frosting (mix well):
1 cube butter
4 Tbl. cocoa powder
6 Tbl. milk
3-1/2 - 4 cups powdered sugar (1 lb.)
