1 - 1-1/2 lbs. petite sirloin, sliced thinly while still partially frozen
Marinade:
3 Tbl. Kikkoman teriyaki marinade and sauce
3 Tbl. apple juice (or orange juice or peach syrup, etc.)
1 Tbl. vinegar
1 Tbl. brown sugar
3-4 cups Broccoli florettes
Sesame seeds
Thinly Sliced tomatoes
Marinate meat for about 1/2 hour. Remove meat and stir fry in a bit of oil. (Do not discard marinade.) Before meat is completely done, remove from pan (leaving juice in pan). Add broccoli to pan and stir fry this as well, using lid to steam a bit.
Using remaining marinade, add 1/2 cup water and 1 Tbl. cornstarch. Whisk together. Add meat back to pan and stir fry with broccoli. Add marinade mixture, stirring to thicken and coat meat and broccoli. Transfer to baking dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Garnish and serve with thinly sliced tomatoes, if desired. Serve over rice.
