Fruit Syrup

Any kind of fruit can be used for fruit syrup: 

  • Apricot 
  • Peach
  • Raspberry 
  • Strawberry
This syrup can be used for:
  • Ice cream
  • Pancakes/Waffles/French Toast
  • Fruit Smoothies
  • Drizzle on desserts: crepes, etc.
For raspberries, you could send them through a strainer/juicer (Victorio Strainer) to remove 95% of the seeds. 

4 cups fruit puree (done in blender)...uses about 2 lbs. strawberries  
1 cup water
3 Tbl. lemon juice
4 cups suagr
1/2 tsp. butter

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and boil over medium heat for 5 min. stirring constantly.  Let cool.  Pour into jars.  Freeze.
